How to measure your head right?

A flexible measuring tape as is customary for sewing is best suited to measure the head circumference. In case of need, however, a piece of twine can also be used (these can be simply lead around the head and then measure with a normal measuring tape /ruler).
Then face a mirror. Fix the front end of the measuring tape in the middle of the forehead & put it just above the ears once around the head. The tape measure should just be as thight as you want your hat to be.
If you want to be safe, you can add an extra 0,5 cm-1cm.

A COMBINATION OF ECO PRINTING AND MYZELIA FLOUR CRACK TECHNIQUE!

This series is made from fabrics I dyed with black tea, which gives them a warm, earthy tannin base. The fabric was then soaked in a mordant and eco-printed with different leaves, like sumach and maple. Rusty pipes were used for wrapping, leaving behind beautiful, organic rust stains.

On top of the finished caps, I created delicate, intricate mycelia-inspired artwork using a flour-resist bleaching technique. The result is layers of fine, textured details in soft cream and deep, striking black tones—each piece unique and full of character.

-----

Crafted through a slow, experimental bleaching process using nothing but flour, patience, and the elements. This natural technique creates delicate, mycelia-inspired patterns.
Each hat develops its own look — making every hat a total unique piece.

For the premium edition of our Myzelia hats, we take the process one step further.
Each finished cap is fully dipped into a flour-based batter, left to dry, then re-wetted and dried again several times to build up a rich, organic texture.

Only after this layering process do we carefully apply our bleach solution, which creates the distinctive Myzelia pattern.

Finally, the hats are soaked, brushed, washed, dried, and hand-ironed — resulting in a completely unique piece, with no two caps ever exactly alike.
